I am embarking on a deeply personal journey to honor Clarke Kathleen Thiesen who inspired us all with her incredible strength during her battle with cancer. As many of you know, Clarke was not just a best friend to my daughter; she was a shining light in our lives, someone I loved very very much and miss so deeply, her spirit continues to inspire me every day. For almost a year I have let my hair grow out and now I’m ready to donate it to Angel Hair for kids and I’m asking for your support in raising funds for the Forever Clarke Foundation well doing so. For three years, while Clarke fought bravely, I often felt so insanely helpless, wishing I could do more to support her, her family and other kids like her. The Forever Clarke Foundation, will be one step in the right direction to start to help other kids with cancer. As it is a non profit organization to raise money for JPCH our local children’s hospital, our paediatric oncology team and personally being able to support families right here in Saskatchewan. Every little bit helps, and I would be incredibly grateful for your generosity in making a difference in these kids' lives. Thank you very much.
